CAULFIELD R2

#7 PALM ANGEL

X3.75 STAKE WIN $12

#8 POINT BARROW

X3 STAKE WIN $9.50

#9 ROSANGELA

X2.5 STAKE WIN $6.50

TYCOON STAR goes in all exotics, can win but here to back first starters and can’t back four horses in the one race. Hopefully is a scratching so don’t have to back three. PALM ANGEL didn’t make much of first couple j/o’s because over a distance that means f all but latest thought was decent against the older gallopers which is something I’ve used as an angle for the 2yo’s for some time. Nouveau there who not sure if that good but market was respecting when it was going to run the other day. Magic Penny there who won a weak maiden. Warparty and Eject there who have won a race and thought PALM was only asked for the smallest amount of effort and responded, was raining so didn’t think that would annoy. POINT BARROW thought travelled better than the older Eight Gorillas in first j/o and Eight subs was okay in a maiden not beaten far. Not sure what against in recent one but did pick up when asked in the straight and good enough j/o for that stable. ROSANGELA could be anything, wasn’t asked for anything and just cruised, as mentioned don’t like backing more than two in the one race but didn’t get to see the limit on Rosa at all so can’t lose on race if smart. Is the type of race I bet the exotics pretty hard. Tycoon Star goes in everything as a winning chance. USAIN BOSS is the other one that I thought was going to be a small stake early because didn’t see the limit there too so could be anything goes in as a winning chance in everything. Maldini 3rd/4th chance. Imzada 4th chance. Palm win. Point win. Rosa win. Salty Pearl place chance, looks speedy but not sure how strong late. Nice looking grey too. She’s Loaded 4th chance. Wiltshire Square responds to riding which is great, Rosa looked to have more natural speed but Wiltshire Square can def run a place

ROSEHILL R1 #6 GALLO NERO

X4.5 STAKE WIN $5

Icarian Dream don’t think beat much on debut and now has to carry extra weight compared to last start. BOMBAY BOOM thought was going to be a stake because looked to travel decent beating home Offenbach but I found another that travelled well against the winner of the Offenbach race so have to go that way. Buckeye beat Offenbach in a trial but had the lightweight. Fermoy wasn’t sure what to make of the trials, goes in all exotics but don’t think was really tested. Went the way of GALLO NERO because looked to improve from first trial to second with Blitzburg as a guide, looked to travel much better than that horse so if not allergic to lactic acid should be hard to beat if has another gear. Blitz came out and beat Offenbach fair and square to the eye and that race looks a decent class figure. Exotics (1.2.4.5.6.9)
