Was hoping to bet the win but Vail Mountain has decided to go here rather than Albury so bit hard to bet against Vail who could lead and the track might favour those out in front, will keep an eye on obviously and if they can run on then I will probably have something the win Engeline, will be backing the quinella too
This import was okay on debut, especially late after line. That was as a 2yo I think so for whatever reason has been given time since then. Heap of jump-outs, bit inconsistent hence no big staking and stable doesn’t seem to have them fit enough or something over distance first up when lightly raced or debut, example Divus Rommulus spelt similiar to that, backed high stake first up Aus run and was okay late but took a few runs to finally show is better than maiden grade and same with a horse backed heavily debut Haaricaine, similiar spelling again, took a while to finally show better than maiden grade. I thought the jump-out against Dual Pressure deserved respect, was unable to match turn of foot Dual but Dual recently won over 1125m in a 58 so you would think normal to have a better turn of foot but this mare was up with Dual again after line. Latest was at the back but Zulfiqar goes better than maiden grade and the time looked decent if correct
