Galactus can improve fresh and with the tongue tie first time. Smiler Marshall went around in a jump-out with some nice animals at Coleraine, including Reykjavich, Frondeur and Spring Break was there. He was then okay late in the jump-out at Terang with Mr Midori, not sure about the cameraman though who was all over the shop.Strategy caught the eye recently at the Caulfield jump-outs, beating Hidden Legend and Express Pass.
Backing Smiler $ 8.10 – Strat $6
Exotics – 4,5,6,7,9,13,14,16 F4 $525.60
Early Quad – 1,2,6,8/5,7,9,14,16/2,4,6,9,11,12/2,4,16,19
Went over the line with Heir to the Throne, Fine Rhythm and Chill Factor in a jump-out. In another jump-out was under a hold early but was making ground late to join Telekinesis after the line. May open big odds because of smaller trainer, drawn the car park though. Kardinia was going okay but recent runs have been disappointing. Liberata has been going okay this prep and is worth something small
I think Vowmaster looks a potential really good horse though. He was jumping out very well before the debut win at Kyneton. He was ridden quietly there but showed a terrific turn of foot when asked. On racing.com they mentioned after the race Walker got off and said “weapon”. My only concern is coming back in distance, seems odd? but I am sure Waller knows what he is doing.
