He ran well enough two starts ago to win this. The winner Ficsmm Dave subsequently went well again and Blue Velvet, has since ran well too. Weak race

Looks like he has a bit of style this horse. Has finished off well in a couple of jump-outs. I liked the way he closed off in the most recent at Bendigo against an unraced horse I have a lot of time for. Brown Boy Bobby did a good job on debut to fight out the finish with Shorthand. Melmac goes in exotics with a few gear changes, may spark improvement. Kotys goes in exotics but happy to risk her for the win. The market seems to be overreacting a lot lately to horses winning jump-outs but not beating anything, e.g Loveplant, Arroance.

Bond Girl has been fairly average at both race starts but she did show okay ability at the Cranbourne jump-outs. Have to give her one more chance with the blinkers and tongue tie going on. If you forget the poor run from Kiani last start she would be a $3 shot. Always prepared to forgive a horse one bad run.
