Corner Pocket will be hard to beat if they run after the fairly quick backup. Battled on well first up and beaten by one that looks smart. Just Call Me James is still lightly raced and open to further improvement. He over raced early last start so if he can learn to settle a bit better he can finish off. Turbofan has jumped out with horses better than maiden grade, including Dee Keepa and Tavisan.

Tipping Point has trialled up okay with some horses who have subsequently won. I thought Controvert showed a turn of foot at Hawkesbury but was not flash at Randwick. Possibly did not like the heavy.
