Was given a few nudges by the jockey in the trial behind Home Affairs but did work home okay. Home has since run well in a group 3. Behind was King of Sparta and Hilal who has won on debut. Was revved up in the most recent trial but did work home well enough again and should be much suited over this distance. Head of State might be the hardest to run down

Debut run looked good when ridden with a sit and then finished off well. Bendigo run went forward and was very weak late but was then sent out for a spell so maybe something went wrong. Jump-outs this time in have looked good enough. Was under a hold in the first one and then recently went around with Aidensfield and Derive.
