| Stats are 2/3 for Corstens, 3/5 J Hill. The negative is Yarra with 0/5. The thing is though looking back, the bets have been off the speed, apart from Rich Sun who sat 2nd and ran 2nd, so if you are on speed it looks like they should have a chance, this filly should be in a forward position, hence feeling comfortable to have a bet. Showed good speed first jo, beating Luna Cat, subs winner. Sat wide here and although probably does not stand out to the eye, was with horses like Mynumerouno, Frontman and Abrazen Laugh have shown decent ability. Sat wide here kept kicking, Are you Gold Enuff won a race, Treporti 2nd recently in a nice maiden at Sandown. Had the earmuffs on recent and was slowly away, took a sit but was still strong after the line against Deep Dive who is going very well to my eye recently and is far better than maiden grade, Sessions Road there and Dirty Deeds. Ear muffs are only on pre-race so I would expect she can jump better than the previous j/o. Barrier 13 surely they wont stuff around and be positive and go forward, picking Yarra Valley with the short straight would suggest they will be trying to find the lead too, I would think anyway. Midwest wouldn’t shock, previous BB but had chances now and might come in handy to give us decent odds. Gut feel should run well. Five Bulls ran around behind in recent j/o, just won at Bendigo now |
