Looks a race between #12 TRUMPSTER and #11 PERFECT POINT. Perfect looks to have the more upside, only beaten by a horse with more race fitness on debut, which would have been a big factor on the heavy ground, get’s extra distance which I think will suit. Trumpster has decent formlines but how many chances can you give him

Prepared to be forgiving of the debut run from #9 SPIRIT OF CHANEL wasn’t knocked around much in a trial with Boomsong who then ran well on debut in a nice maiden. Not much went right there at Scone, she missed the start, over raced and then it got pretty tight in traffic in the straight, if she can jump better here and hopefully find the front she might be able to roll along at good speed

Looked home on debut before being collared on the line, form fell away a bit after that, gelded, given spell, could have improved and some of these country NSW maidens can be a bit easier
