| I was already making an effort to cut down on NSW bets but after yesterday and the putrid run by the The Cave, very minimal will be sent, for whatever reason the bigger wins just come from VIC racing. This guy is the final one, because he did what is the main thing I like in a trial, given a quiet time and then started motoring through the line, against a few winners, given plenty of time to improve. It was a little hard to see how much ground he made after the line because interestingly the footage finished, which is a bit unusual, unless you are at Sale j/o’s. Anthony Manton who was calling the trial did say something on the lines of ‘Look at Jiggler scream through the line” and doubt he would have said that if he didn’t go past the winner of the trial. He is a decent judge of a trial too imo. No stats on trainer yet. T Berry and Canberra are poor stats, hence low staking but prepared to give Berry one more chance, being a senior jock. Canberra is on final chance too. Only reason giving this setup one more chance is because I’ve backed the horse myself, low staking |
