Added some extra stake because other selection Express scratched and the figures from Grammar Lad first up run look to be pretty decent
PLY just okay first couple I thought but couldn’t knock them, recent given a really quiet time but thought was good late through the line against Grammar Lad who ran well enough first up in a 64 to be a okay benchmark for a maiden horse, if Plymouth has a few extra gears, should be able to run well on debut. Athanatos goes okay but 5 start maiden now so had a chance to win and hasn’t. EXPRESS GUARD I thought looked to improve coming off a spell between j/o’s. Latest trial was ridden hard but least know likely responds to riding and had stablemate Isthmus in front which is a good guide, Isth not touched but would have a decent cruising speed I would think and stable would know what they are doing so would think more chance of improving after given a hit out. Rue De Royale goes in exotics like all mentioned here but been in the black book before debut so had plenty of chances. Stay Silent can go in exotics but Politely Dun hasn’t franked form. Barbie’sdreamworld will have a couple dollars on for mental health because was a stake bet on debut and goes in exotics

Tonkin trustworthy stable, beat home Coleman in a j/o. Had a break I would assume, wasn’t asked much in next j/o. Recent trial was over 1000m which is a decent distance, wasn’t asked much in straight, not sure if many more gears there if any but race is same distance and would think good chance to be forward, De Bergerac was ridden more and has won a race. MAUI MAN has shown a bit of early speed but could be unreliable being j/o/trial speed and then hasn’t been asked for much in straight to my eye, completely guessing if will find anything because could just be weak late or could find something completely guessing but at $100 think doesn’t hurt to have a guess. In my wide EQ and exotics, Chocolate Isle goes in. The Grumpy Bear would be surprised if won but goes in wide stuff because market respects. DUROVA goes in everything because could have improved. Worth a saver if can because only one I’m really worried about, probably drifts late too
