Not sure what beat first j/o this prep but thought showed a turn of foot late and time looked decent, the little doubt there is possibly looked better because lightweight jock. Recent j/o kept going with little riding, only a couple pushes if that to keep mind on job, beat home El Fortress who ran okay on debut, third and fourth horse in the j/o I have some time for. Not much else really jumped out at me saying I’m good so worth having something on this filly coming from a trustworthy stable

Thought was strong after the line and had Flying Valley there as a guide. Flying subs went like a busted which is a slight concern but was happy to forget a bit because was heavy 8 so surely too bad to be true, run before that won a 64 by 2L. The other one that will probably have a saver on is ALIGNING STARS who would be a stake if SHIFTER wasn’t in race, can get a guide with both through Moto Moto and I thought Shifter was visually better against that horse. Aligning did look better to me with blinkers on in NSW and gets them here so could improve but guessing how many lengths and did have a lightweight jock on in that trial with blinkers. SHIFTER finds a suitable race to win on debut if any good
