| Most members would remember we backed him on debut and he was narrowly defeated by one that had no weight. Ex Aus horse who looked handy to my eyes when here. Couple trials since debut run and still travelling under own steam, can hopefully have a few off the bit chasing early, no reason to jump off. #8 SOUTH OF THE RIVER caught my eye when in Aus, debut was very avg but back to trials there and bolted in without being tested, if there was a genuine excuse for the debut you could forgive. I’m having 0.25 stake on the quinella, mainly for my mental health |
