BALLARAT R1

#2 KALIUWAA FALLS $6.50 X 0.75 Stake fixed – 0.75 Stake tote
Like trainer and jock, j/o before debut was matching motors with Elite Icon and Perfect Darling. They have shown they are better than maiden grade. Debut at Pak was in a decent field and maybe didn’t know what he was doing out in front, think can improve with cover and run under belt. JESTER obviously hard to beat but $1.40 not my thing and just think Kali looks some value. I will be having something small on the Tri and F4 too
Exotics – 1,2,10,11
BALLARAT R2

#6 LE MESSAGER $11 – 0.5 Stake fixed – 0.5 Stake tote
Getting costly but still lightly raced and hasn’t done anything wrong, no luck on debut and lost momentum last start. I’m not convinced with the others shorter in the market, didn’t think Palani wanted further, Kentucky Ruler can improve I think with clear air, looks a decent stayer. Think Le Messager just has some decent form with the likes of Peribaldo and Irish Exchange. Beat by Thought Provoking last start but I did think she had come back okay, got time for Sconaero and Chelmsford, so trusting that formlines, think she will get back and hopefully can get to the outside and let down with no traffic stops. Keeping staking low just because few dangers and stats are not great with stable and jock
MOE R1

#7 POLYPHONIC $2.50 – X1.5 Stake fixed – X1.5 Stake tote
Started this prep with stablemate Spirit Beast in a j/o and didn’t think was much between them, Spirit has subs won a maiden. First up run was behind Hesket who subs went and beat Elite Icon and if memory was okay there was a gap back to 3rd. Toronali is the only one that scares me, does look a danger
