This filly has caught the eye a few times late in her Caulfield jump-outs. Her breeding suggest she will be better over distance but she can be competitive on debut. She should be well educated with 5 jump-outs under the belt.
Field of Roses went around in an official trial back in March. That trial has thrown up a heap of subsequent winners, including Portland Sky, Far Enough and Adesanya who recently won at Sha Tin under the name of Courier Wonder and looked like Black Caviar. Hilverston jumped out well before the debut behind the talented Sartorial Splendor. The time from that Moe race was very good for a maiden and he looks better suited out to the 1200m. I thought it was a interesting jump-out from Miss Armstrong, who was well back behind Elusive Shine but towards the end of the jump-out the jockey looked to start riding and then the footage ends. Blinkers go on for race day.
Trials before debut were decent and Highest Standard has subsequently won. First start was matching motors with Triple Ace who goes well and has since won again. I’m scared of Potent View because I like that Bat Pad and Victorella form.
