Forget he went around on debut. Had zero luck in the straight. Decent form subsequently from the race. Went to Sale and put away the field there winning fairly easy over the 1400m. The time rated really well for maiden class and he looks to have some upside. I’m hoping Ronniejay goes forward and annoys Deep Speed and Shelby can swoop late.

Moremi caught the eye after the line in the first trial. Selburose goes alright and this filly was making ground late. She then hit the line well again at the 2nd trial and being by Dundeel enjoy getting over some distance. Oakfield Romance is a 20 start maiden but if she can get out in front and run them along she looks a chance. I have a lot of time for False Step who beat her last start.

I am no weather expert so be careful if Wyong is still very wet come race time. She was disappointing on debut after impressing at the Flemington jump-outs, may have been because she does not go on soft ground. Was then sent up north and won well at Newcastle. Forms been franked and I think she will end up in town at some stage and take out a nice race. If it was good ground I would be really confident.
Ocean Beyond won a jump-out at Casterton beating Royal Exit. He then went to Terang and travelled very well in front with Barcelona Rock ridden (won yesterday) and Touch of Paradise behind. Very hard to beat.
