I fell in love with racing at a very early age of about eight years old. Watching the likes of Might and Power and Tie the Knot.
Most Saturdays were spent putting pocket money on the Melbourne races including $1 quinella’s and usually getting nothing back. Fast forward a few years, my love for racing grew when owning a few gallopers and being luckily enough to taste some success without waiting very long ( Taxee and Mantener La Fe). A few years later I was doing some part time work for an online horse tipping company. (EXPERTFORM) Helping with the video comments/data entry and also working part time at a Tab.
It was when I stumbled across trials/Jump-outs about five years ago that my betting improved. I found if you put in the time and effort, particularly looking for those horses that made ground after the winning post, there was some money to be made. Since then I have been sharing tips through Twitter @bensracingtips and also providing some content for @thegreattipoff and most recently part of the Propunteralert team
